Issachar
Issachar means "there is recompence" or there is reward or "man of hire". He is the 9th son of Jacob, the 5th son of Leah (excluding her handmaid's sons) and he could have lived from 2180 FC to 2280 FC (1788 BC – 1688 BC | perhaps 100 yrs). Jacob might have been 72 yrs old when Issachar was born?
Before Issachar was born, according to Genesis 30:14-15, Reuben the 1st son of Leah found mandrakes and brought it to his mother. Rachel asked Leah the mandrakes, but when Leah refused, Rachel offered that Jacob would sleep with Leah that night. Assuming that Reuben started helping his father when Jacob started to work on his own flock, which was when he was 71 (2179 FC 1789 BC), the mandrake event could have been also on the same year. If so, Issachar would be born the year after, when Jacob is 72.
